Charlie Sheen was one of the highest paid actors on television while making his name as a lead on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. However, several personal scandals damaged his career and led to his dismissal in 2011.

Recently, Sheen returned to the headlines after his 18-year-old daughter Sami announced in June that she would be joining Only Fans, a subscription service that allows creators to post mature photos and videos for a monthly cash income. The 56-year-old initially opposed his daughter’s decision, urging her “not to sacrifice her integrity”.

“She’s 18 now and lives with her mom,” Sheen told Fox News Digital in June. “Keep it stylish, creative and don’t sacrifice her integrity.”

However, Sheen changed his mind on the subject after speaking to ex-wife Denise Richards, a former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star. He vowed to give Sami a “united parental front” as she “embarks on this new adventure.”

What’s up with Charlie Sheen?

After a series of financial and personal struggles following his departure from Two and a Half Men, Sheen took a multi-year hiatus from Hollywood. However, last March it was reported that Sheen would be starring alongside Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillion in a new drama-comedy series called Ramble On, according to Deadline.

Sheen initially resisted his daughter’s decision to join OnlyFans, but changed his mind after speaking to his ex-wife Denise Richards. Sheen and Richards, pictured here in 2005, share two daughters: Sami and Lola.

The series follows “established stars looking to reinvent their careers while also bringing together cast members looking to make their own names,” according to the show’s IMBD page. Martin Sheen, Charlie’s father, and Mark Cuban will also appear on the show. No official release date has been announced, and the series’ pilot episode was funded by its creator, Doug Ellin.

“This idea has been floating around in my head for years and it’s amazing to see it come to life,” Ellin told Deadline. “I am beyond grateful that so many of my ‘Entourage’ crew and cast, along with some of the most talented comedic forces in the industry, have joined us on this exciting new journey. We can’t wait to share this with the world. “
