The Western Fair joins the list of crowd favorites returning this year with two upcoming concerts in London, Ontario.

The Canadian line-up begins September 14 with Valley headlining with New Friends and Lilyisthatyou.

Western Fair will return fully and personally for 2022

With over 210 million worldwide streams and a 2020 Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year, Toronto quartet Valley – Rob Laska, Michael “Mickey” Brandolino, Alex Dimauro and Karah James – were formed by accident, as a local studio doubly she had booked in 2016.

According to Western Fair’s press release, the band “compiles alternative pop with the care, adventurous spirit and personal touch of a handcrafted CD burning.”

Formed in 2016, Toronto band Valley consists of Rob Laska, Michael “Mickey” Brandolino, Alex Dimauro and Karah James.

London, Ontario-based group New Friends will introduce Valley in the fall. Comprised of Stefan Boulineau, Ayden Miller, Cole Wilson and Conrad Galecki, the four met in 2018 while studying at Fanshawe College in the Music Industry Arts programme.

But according to Western Fair, the music doesn’t stop there.

Finger Eleven will be headlining on September 15th along with I Mother Earth and local rockers Full Throttle.

Originally formed in 1990 as the Rainbow Butt Monkeys, the Ontario group now known as Finger Eleven experimented with a variety of styles including hard rock, classic rock, heavy blues and textural pop.

Musicians Scott Anderson, James Black, Rick Jackett and Sean Anderson have released six full-length albums, including the Juno Award-winning one She Vs. You vs. Me.

Full Throttle, a “three-piece teen power pop-punk band” from Forest City, is also slated to perform at the upcoming festival.

The band is also a recipient of the 2022 FCLMA Youth Award.

Both concerts will take place in the Western Fair District Sports Center’s London Major Appliances Olympic Bowl.
