    Vanessa does a little bit of everything on the workout front, and she prefers to work up a sweat with a pal. She told you before women health that she wants to do six workouts a week with her friends. “Being consistently self-motivated is almost a daydream,” she said, adding, “I turn to friends to hold myself accountable.”

    So what exactly do these workouts involve? It’s a pretty wide range. Vanessa tells Good + good that she’s stayed with SoulCycle, Pilates and yoga for the past 10 years and that she tries to mix things up throughout the week to target different areas of her body.

    Vanessa shared tons of content from her trainer, Julia Brown, of self-grubbing workouts at The Dogpound. Vanessa made it through a battle ropes workout and a resistance band workout where she does all kinds of squats and jumps with Brown, among many other sweat sessions.

    When it comes to food, Vanessa is a fan of intermittent fasting. “I’ve done a lot of intermittent fasting because I love pasta, I love pizza, and when I don’t eat carbs I feel like a little piece of me dies,” she previously said Persons. She usually eats from 12pm to 6pm each day and then fasts for the other 18 hours.
