Concept Art for Tiny Toons Looniversity features many returning characters for the upcoming Tiny Toon Adventures reboot, which will premiere this year.
New pictures from Tiny Toons Looniversity Concept art reveals the returning characters from the original series. This was announced by Amblin Entertainment Little Toon Adventures Rebooting in 2020 with a two-season order. Tiny Toons Looniversity will once again follow the next generation of toons studying the art of cartoon mayhem in the Acme Looniversity under the tutelage of famous characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The new series is expected to premiere later this year on HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
While the Tiny Toons were initially designed as inexperienced minis Looney Tunes Characters, Tiny toon adventures turned the young toons into beloved icons of their own. At the time, fans of the 90’s animation were very excited to see concept art Tiny Toons Looniversity that revealed all the Tiny Toons who returned for the reboot at SDCC last week (shared via gizmodo). The images confirmed the return of Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, the rest of the Tiny Toons ensemble and their cherished Looniversity faculty. Check out the images below:
While it looks like every character is accounted for in these images, Tiny Toons Looniversity is expected to vary slightly Little Toon Adventures. Babs and Buster Bunny will be fraternal twins in the reboot, which should change their dynamic as a sibling bond keeps them together. It’s also expected that the storylines will be updated for 2022, similar to the treatment of the hit animaniacs get restart. Fans will have to wait and see what happens when Tiny Toons Looniversity premieres this year.
