Stranger Things and Snowpiercer stars are joining a new Marvel TV series

Marvel Studios is definitely having a little more fun with their titles lately, isn’t it? There is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniabut we think they’ve reached their peak with that Moon Maiden and Devil Dinosaur. Honestly, what a name.

Okay, this show is an animated series from Disney Branded Television, so it’s not really part of the MCU (but follows Spider-Man: Far From Homeno crossover is off limits), but we’re totally here for more of the more quirky comic book adaptations for big and small screens.

Announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Moon Maiden and Devil Dinosaur focuses on the adventures of a teenage genius Lunella Lafayette and her best friends, one of whom, as you might have guessed, is a T-Rex.

The vocal cast is pretty damn impressive too stranger things‘ Maya Hawke, snowpiercer‘s Daveed Diggs and The X Factor USA Candidate turned The Lion Guard and Sofia the first Star Diamond White as Lunella.

We also have (take a deep breath) MCU’s Laurence Fishburne and Cobie Smulders, GLOWby Alison Brie, Love, Victoris Michael Cimino, pose‘s India Moore, perfomance‘s Method Man, The UK Voiceis jennifer hudson, The Mandalorianby Omid Abtahi, Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Craig Robinson, the blade Trilogy Wesley Snipes and See what’s happening live with Andy Cohenis Andy Cohen.

And just when we thought it was time to take a deep breath, the guest cast list follows Star Trek: Discoveryby Wilson Cruz moon knight‘s May Calamawy and veteran superhero voice actor Josh Keaton.

As if all that wasn’t enough, a first look clip has since been released showing our heroine trying to stop two robbers who seem very unfazed by the giant dinosaur stomping around.
