In a hilarious but probably frustrating case of mistaken identity, seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles was recently offered a coloring book on a flight after a flight attendant mistook her for a child.
The 25-year-old athlete reported the experience on her Instagram story with an incredulous expression on her face.
“Not the flight attendant trying to give me a coloring book when I get on board … I was like, ‘No, I’m fine, I’m 25,'” she wrote.

President Joe Biden introduced Biles at the awards ceremony by saying, “Today, she adds to her medal count.”
With 32 Olympic and World Championship medals, Biles is the most successful US gymnast in history.
According to a White House press release, the athlete was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom not only for her contributions to the world of sports, but also for her advocacy for “the mental health and safety of athletes, children in foster care, and victims of sexual assault.” .”

YouTuber Matt Bernstein found the incident just as shocking as Biles, tweeting, “I cry to think of a flight attendant giving Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, a coloring book because she’s 5’1”.
A far cry from the days when she needed a coloring book to pass her time, Biles recently announced her engagement to NFL player Jonathan Owens.
The couple announced their upcoming wedding on Instagram the day after Valentine’s Day.
“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles wrote alongside a photo gallery of Owens’ proposal. “I can’t wait to spend forever and ever with you, you are everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCE.”
