Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas share new photo of baby Malti and health update

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas share how they’re settling into parenthood. Chopra recently posted a new photo of her daughter, Malti Marie, to her Instagram, while Jonas gave an update on her health. Malti spent over 100 days in the NICU after being born via surrogate in January. Chopra and Jonas took her home in May, they announced on Mother’s Day.

Jonas spoke up entertainment tonight about fatherhood and his little girl and confirms that she is fine now. It’s certainly life-changing,” Jonas said yesterday about being a dad. “[Malti] It’s amazing. It brings me a lot of joy. All is well.”

Jonas last shared a photo of himself and his daughter on Father’s Day. Both he and Chopra have hidden Malti’s face in photos to protect their privacy. “First Father’s Day with my little daughter,” he captioned the photo. “Thank you @priyankachopra for the amazing father daughter sneakers and for making me a daddy, love you so much. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and carers out there.”

Chopra, meanwhile, shared a shot of her and Malti hiking with their longtime friend and godson. “22+ years old… and now with our babies…
love you @tam2cul ❤️,” she wrote.

Chopra and Jonas shared the first photo of Malti on May 8 while revealing their journey in the NICU. Chopra wrote, “On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but reflect on these past few months and the roller coaster ride we’ve been on that we now know has been the experience of so many people as well. After more than 100 days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain amount of faith, and while ours have been a challenging few months, looking back makes it abundantly clear how precious and perfect each moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home and would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and specialists at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles who have been selflessly there every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now and our baby really is a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mom and Dad love you.”

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and caregivers in my life and out there. You make it look so easy Thanks,” she continued. “Besides… there’s no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mom @nickjonas I love you ❤️”
