The reality show peaks with exciting and interesting stories, and then Bekah takes the stage. The Los Angeles nanny was just 22 when she joined the show. Therefore, she was the youngest contestant who caught the attention of many viewers. Since she’s no longer part of the show, Bekah has finally revealed how she cheated her way into The Bachelorette. Tune in to find out.
The Bachelorette: What crime did Bekah Martinez commit?
Reality star Bekah knows his way around the industry. And with The Bachelorette’s popularity, fans would love to be a part of the show. Likewise, Bekah entered the show with a band, and her “professional nanny” story is still famous for being wanted. Martinez began dating 36-year-old racer Arie Luyendyk Jr. The Bachelorette racer was on the verge of becoming the love of Bekah’s life. However, in week 7, Bekah was forced to leave the show. Later, the production asked her to be part of the show, but she declined the offer as she was in a relationship. That being said, fans still remember Bekah flagging her entry.
Since Arie Luyendyk Jr. loves race cars, Bekah showed up in a 1965 Ford Mustang and won his heart. Similarly, given the heat of the competition, she earned two dates with Arie. However, another contestant, Tia, intervened by warning the racer that Bekah’s age could be a problem for him in the future. Therefore, since that day, she has never looked back. Well, in her life, Bekah is doing really well. On Instagram, Bekah recently shared her experience of a crime she committed while on the show. The Bachelorette star described how the contestants used to wear expensive and shimmering dresses. However, she had no money to buy such expensive clothes.
So she borrowed clothes from the families she worked for. And then when she needed something extra or new, she would go to Nordstrom Rack. So the reality star used to wear dresses with tags attached, and then she returned them as new as ever. While some may feel that Bekah’s action was a minor transgression, that really isn’t the case. According to the law firms Hogan and Hogan, the practice of buying clothes, wearing them, and returning them with the tag is called wardrobe. Therefore, it can cost companies a lot at $10 billion a year.
The Bachelorette: Will Bekah be punished?
When Bekah Martinez revealed the information, fans were shocked. However, many sympathized with the reality star and noted that she did what she had to do. According to The Bachelorette fans, people do this kind of thing and no one bats an eye on it. However, it is a crime and should not be encouraged. Since the Hogan law firm declared the action a felony, Bekah’s case could be ruled a fraud.
