Kith is launching the Spider-Man 60th Anniversary Collection alongside a new limited edition comic book

In celebration of Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary, Kith presents a tribute to the Marvel Super Hero’s six decades, interpreted through Kith’s lens. Archival images from the Spider-Man comics were used to create a collaborative collection of adult and children’s clothing and accessories to show the iconic character’s evolution. Another element of this collaboration is a bespoke Spider-Man comic book that features entirely original storyline and graphics, as well as some previews of upcoming unreleased Kith collections.

The Limited Marvel | Comic book Kith Spider-Man celebrates the anniversary with an original story in which Spider-Man tries to stop Doctor Octopus and his army of robots from devastating New York City. The comic also features cameos from other Marvel characters, including Iron Man and Tinkerer, as well as Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. Written by Anthony Piper and drawn by Julian Shaw, with colors by Fabio Laporini and Fabio D’Auria, the comic will be released for the first time on Monday July 11th and will receive a second release to coincide with the launch of the full collection on Friday. 15th of July. The comic will be released this Monday, July 11th. in all kith shops. It will also be released as a bundle with our curated selection of vintage Spider-Man memorabilia. These items include characters, comics, illustrations, and more. When purchasing one of the memorabilia, customers will receive a copy of the comic. The memorabilia are only sold online and are not available in store.

The adult clothing and accessories collection includes intarsia knit jumpers, 400gsm cotton fleece hoodies and a range of vintage washed long and short sleeve tees. Accessories include a selection of headwear as well as lifestyle merchandise such as skateboard decks, posters, puzzles and more. In addition to the adult collection, there is a 16-piece children’s offering featuring similar artwork to that featured on the adult products. Clothing silhouettes include lounge sets, intarsia knit jumpers, hoodies and t-shirts.

This celebration will culminate with a special 3-day pop-up experience set in Ronnie Fieg and Peter Parker’s hometown of Queens, New York. This will be the first official pop-up that Kith has hosted in Queens. Designed by Kith and Marvel Entertainment, this store will be the only location in New York aside from the Kith Store in Bergdorf Goodman where the Marvel | The Kith Spider-Man collection and comic book will be available for purchase on Friday, July 15 (neither Kith Manhattan nor Kith Brooklyn will stock the collection). The collection and comic will continue to be released in Kith’s other stores outside of New York and online. As well as stocking the collection, the pop-up will also feature a curated selection of vintage Spider-Man memorabilia for customers to purchase, including comics from the last six decades along with action figures, original illustrations and more.

Online orders of adult clothing will receive a copy of the specially made Kith for Marvel Spider-Man comic book as a gift with purchase.
