Khloé’s post comes just weeks after she and Tristan were photographed together for the first time since his shocking paternity scandal earlier this year.
Over the weekend, Khloé Kardashian shared some photos from her recent 38th birthday celebrations!
Along with her loved ones, the reality star traveled to Turks and Caicos for Kamp KoKo, as revealed by her siblings Kim and Rob Kardashian on Instagram, who also shared a series of photos from the lavish trip.
Khloé posted a series of sweet pics of her own and flaunted the luxury vacation on her own Instagram page – even poking fun at Kim in the process, with a tongue-in-cheek reference to a rather memorable person Keeping up with the Kardashians Moment.
And to make things even better, Khloé returned from the Turks to a heap of different flower arrangements sent by her nearest and dearest.
Khloé showcased all of the displays on her Instagram Stories and thanked the various people who sent her flowers.
But among the series of pictures Khloé posted, fans were quick to notice one person who appeared to be sending her a sizeable arrangement: her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
Khloé and Tristan dated on and off for years, and their relationship was repeatedly plagued by his infidelity. He was memorably accused of cheating on her in 2018, just days before the birth of their now 4-year-old daughter, and kissed her then-close family friend Jordyn Woods in a separate scandal the following year.
Their latest split came in January after Tristan admitted to secretly fathering a child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols during his and Khloé’s relationship.
With that in mind, fans were quite surprised when Khloé publicly thanked Tristan for the lavish floral arrangement he apparently sent to her home.
“Thank you,” she wrote over a photo of the huge display. However, eagle-eyed fans noted that unlike the other people who sent her flowers, Khloé didn’t clearly tag Tristan in her post. Instead, she marked it so subtly in the top corner that many people initially missed it entirely. The Instagram story was then apparently deleted shortly after it was published.
“She’s still going through this cycle…” one person commented, earning a whopping 16,000 likes approvingly. “Like she still agrees to post that man?” another user questioned. “You can be cool in private, but he shouldn’t make it to your side.”
Perhaps unsurprisingly, several users have speculated that the pair had reignited their relationship – a thought fueled recently when the exes were pictured together for the first time since the paternity scandal.
Just a few weeks ago, Khloé and Tristan were photographed looking quite cozy as they left a pre-Father’s Day lunch with several members of their family. The NBA player could be seen with his in some snapshots arms wrapped her as they apparently helped her daughter into the back seat of an SUV.
Fans quickly assumed the couple had gotten back together when the photos surfaced, and tons of harsh tweets mocking Khloé quickly went viral.
“Hummmm Very calculated by the paparazzi not to release photos of my other sisters and the fathers of their children Kim/Kanye Kylie/Trav,” Khloé wrote, referring to Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West and Kylie Jenner’s partner Travis Scott – both of whom were with the Essen was present but not visible in the photos distributed by the paps.
Khloé has long maintained that despite everything that has happened between them, Tristan is still a presence in her life.
Talk about the topic with Amanda Hirsch Not skinny but not fat In the May podcast, Khloé made it clear that because of True, Tristan will “always” be involved in her life, adding that the little girl’s “routine” is to FaceTiming him every night.
“It’s just really heartfelt,” she said of her and Tristan’s relationship as co-parents. “There’s just no drama. For me, the facts are the facts. What are we always fighting about? What should one talk about?
Later in the podcast episode, Khloé revealed that she found out about Tristan’s new paternity “with the rest of the world,” and urged him not to inform her before the scandal was made public — despite the couple being together at the time.
When he announced the news in January, Tristan shared a statement on his Instagram Story in which he apologized directly to Khloé. “Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” he wrote. “You do not deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I’ve treated you all these years.”
Reflecting on the public exchange months later, Khloé told Amanda, “I’m figuring out with the rest of the world what the most obnoxious part is. I mean, this all sucks, but can there be a little respect? Could you have told me before I found out at the Daily Mail? That would be nice.”
