Injector Faces Backlash for TikTok via Natalia Dyer Face

The injector made a step-by-step video about how she would change Natalia’s face.

This is Miranda Wilson. She is a registered nurse in Laguna Beach, California. Miranda has a TikTok account where she shares the ins and outs of injections and beauty treatments.

Well, Miranda got in hot water after making a TikTok about how she would “treat” Natalia Dyer stranger things if she were her injector.

She deleted TikTok but people still saved the video. It showed her in front of a picture of Natalia on the red carpet. “Okay guys, let’s talk about Natalia Dyer from stranger things,” she began the video. “So if I were Natalia’s injector, that’s what I would do.”

I could never be a star because if someone made a video like this about me I would get violent

“We would start by treating these masseters. We all know how much I love treating masseter to slim the face,” she said.

“Next, I would add a little bit of chin filler just to fill out her chin and make her face more heart-shaped,” she said.

“Next, I would put a little bit on the lips. Just a little bit, nothing crazy – just a nice pout.”

“Then we would go in there and do a little botox. I would give her a nice brow lift to open up her eyes.”

“And to top it off, we would start working with some Sculptra [filler]. She seems to have thin skin. We want to keep it from thinning and make more collagen.”

Then the Injector shared how she Photoshopped Natalia based on those hypothetical edits. “Tada!” She said. “As we can see, her jaw is slimmer. Her chin is more pointed and her eyebrows are raised. Gotta love that pouty mouth.”

People were angry about the whole situation. One tweet with over 300,000 likes read: “I could never be a star because if someone made a video like this about me I would become violent.”

People stressed that not everyone has to look the same. “I’m tired of everyone being expected to look exactly the same and being insulted because they don’t fit the mold,” said another person.

The way people demonize other people’s unique traits like Natalia Dyer’s jaws, how can we acknowledge that their uniqueness is a huge factor in their beauty? I’m tired of everyone being expected to look exactly the same and being insulted for not fitting the mold

@probablypersian aren’t allowed to make people look unique and different? Also their end result is literally the exact fucking head shape as Megamind. what the heck does someone do that and post that….

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with getting botox, fillers, and beauty treatments. But making an entire ass video — unsolicited, unsolicited — focused on how you would change someone else’s face is not okay.

Full disclosure, I have them all and even post them on BuzzFeed.

Natalia didn’t respond to the video, but we’ll update you if she does.
