Ex-MEGADETH members ELLEFSON, YOUNG and POLAND play the albums “Killing Is My Business” and “So Far, So Good”.

former MEGADETH members David Ellefson (bass) and jeff young (guitar) have announced the first four shows of the KINGS OF THRASH “The MEGA Years” Trip. You will be accompanied to the appointments by another alumni MEGADETH Member, Chris Poland (Guitar).

KINGS OF THRASHwhich also includes the drummer fred pain and guitarist/singer Chaz Leonwill execute MEGADETH‘s classic albums “Killing is my business… and business is good!” and “So far, so good… so what!” in their entirety.

As previously reported, Ellefson and Young reunited on stage on May 10th um Ultimate jam nightthe long-running community-focused show in residence at the famed Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, as part of a special tribute to the so-called “Big Four” of 1980s thrash metal — METALLIKA, MEGADETH, SLAYERS and ANTHRAX. The event was the first time David and Jeff had played MEGADETH songs together on stage since the UK’s Monsters of Rock Festival on August 20, 1988.

The Whiskey A Go Go concert came four months later Ellefson and Young reunited in Los Angeles to give interviews to be included in the upcoming feature-length documentary “That Was My Life: The Story of Nick Menza”. Ellefson has signed on to co-produce the film and will also provide narration to guide the viewer through the exploration of the deceased MEGADETH drummer life.
