EMILY PRESCOTT: Meghan Markle’s mouthpiece Omid Scobie is back with a book sequel

EMILY PRESCOTT: Meghan Markle’s mouthpiece Omid Scobie is at it again with a sequel to the book that promises “exclusive revelations” to be released next year

If you thought – or hoped – that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might slip out of the limelight for even a moment, I have news for you…

Meghan Markle’s favorite author Omid Scobie is writing another book and promising a ‘new chapter in royal history’ that will dish out ‘exclusive revelations’.

The journalist previously co-authored the bestseller Finding Freedom, a compassionate account of Meghan and Harry’s relationship and how they came to leave Britain and retire from royal duties.

This tome went into depth on the Sussexes at over 400 pages, including details on luxury vacations and Meghan’s candy cravings.

But Scobie doesn’t seem to have tired of the subject that’s proven so lucrative, as the new book — as yet untitled and written as a solo — is due out next year.

While Meghan admitted she authorized a friend to give interviews for Finding Freedom, it’s not clear if she agreed to the follow-up.

However, Scobie promises “deep access” to the royals and their entourage.

Some Royal watchers believe the new volume could contradict claims made in acclaimed biographer Tom Bower’s new book Revenge, which criticizes the Duchess.

The book – which Meghan’s estranged father Thomas helped with – contains a slew of allegations including that the Duchess once made Kate Middleton cry.

Meanwhile, this year Prince Harry is releasing his own ghostwriting memoir, which he has described as “a firsthand account of my life which is accurate and absolutely truthful”.

Thomas Markle isn’t the only family member troubling Meghan. Her half-sister Samantha recently started an Instagram account called “truthwins.”

TV fans may have wondered where Laura Kuenssberg has gone since she stepped down as the BBC’s political editor in May.

I’m told she works hard for her salary – now around £275,000.

Laura has done two Boris Bashing Panorama shows and is also planning a new Sunday political show due out in September.

Pippa is OK with furniture and fishing

She’s extremely private, so it seems odd that Pippa Middleton would have bought a property with a shop in the backyard.

But that’s exactly what she and her husband, a hedge fund manager, James Matthews, did by buying a gorgeous Berkshire home previously owned by a famous designer.

The mansion is yards from the furniture store, whose employees have been sworn to secrecy about the identity of their celebrity neighbors.

Perhaps Kate’s sister fell in love with the property’s fishing lakes. I heard her mum Carole once gave a keen angler Pippa a fancy rod from Harrods!
