Drake’s tickets to OVO Fest Toronto have just gone on sale and the reaction from fans has been hilarious

After Drake announced earlier this year that OVO Fest would be making a comeback for 2022 in Toronto, Drake officially dropped the festival’s dates earlier this week.

Fans were starting to freak out because the event’s announcement came just two weeks before the hip-hop festival was scheduled to end and just two days before tickets went on sale.

Ticket sales began at 10:00 am on July 15, and fans responded amusingly to the obvious demand.

One fan wished others the best of luck and even added the Hunger Games salute to her tweet.

Another told fans not to spend all their money to get tickets.

Someone even joked that people will eat an alkaline diet after trying to pay for tickets.

One fan even joked that other people’s credit cards are being declined just so they have a better chance of getting seats.

Some have compared the ticket release to an apocalypse.

Or even a one man fight against all odds.

The queue for tickets was a mess, with thousands of people trying to buy tickets.

Some waited in line for over 40 minutes only to be out of tickets at all.

A fan saw the prices for the festival and immediately went back to bed after seeing the costs.

As chaotic as the ticket sales were, some fans were able to snag tickets.

These lucky fans couldn’t contain their excitement at seeing one of their favorite artists.

Unfortunately, OVO Fest is now sold out, but hopefully those who are still looking can find some cheap tickets from resellers.

OVO Fest returns to the city on July 29th at History and July 30th and August 1st at Budweiser Stage.
