Not surprisingly, the Shintani style of dragon ball Anime takes the lead at Kubota Style. When Dragon Ball Super: Brolythe first teaser was published, and the new look of the animation made a name for itself dragon ball fanbase. Shintani was keen to take it dragon ball to a new place, especially after there was such a big hiatus after the anime ended and faded from memory. Shintani and director Tatsuya Nagimine wanted to break with this mold dragon ball and did – much to the delight of the fans. Shintani has become – in every sense – the new icon of dragon balland the drive to make his vision THE vision of the series is substantial.
Of course, we can’t ignore the fact that Chikashi Kubota ranks so high in the polls. Dragon Ball Super: Superhero hasn’t even been released to theaters worldwide (only in Japan and a few other markets), so many fans haven’t had a chance to see the new animation style in motion (high definition, not fake) yet. . There was also quite a bit of backlash at the idea of Kubota and director Tetsuro Kodama using CGI in their animations. And yet, superhero seems to be resonating with fans, big time, and Kubota is getting special love for his animation calls upon (but updates) Tadayoshi Yamamuro’s iconic Dragon Ball Z style..
It will be interesting to see how opinions change Dragon Ball Super: Superhero still has its theatrical release – and what possibilities arise for new anime after the film. We already know that Dragon Ball great Anime is in the works – whatever it may be:

Well, if you’re asking, a new entry in the series is already in the works! It took us five years to make Super Hero, so it’s only natural that we’re already working on what’s next! After all, Toriyama-sensei himself is always working on new Dragon Ball concepts and ideas. We’re all thinking about what to show the world next.”
