Comic-Con art by Jim Lee gives a new look at Michael Keaton’s Batman costume

A new look at Michael Keaton’s Batman costume is revealed in new Comic-Con merchandise illustrated by Jim Lee. The prolific artist is DC Comics’ chief creative officer and editor, but he still finds time to draw some of the most iconic characters in the DC Universe. This is the week of the entertainment world coming to the city of San Diego for Comic-Con 2022, and attendees can pick up bags featuring their favorite DC characters from the comics, TV, and movies. Many of your favorites can be found on the Comic-Con bags, including the Batman fans that can be expected The Lightning and bat girl movies.

“Excited and honored to share some artwork I drew for @Comic_Con 2022 bags to celebrate @DCComics across media!” Jim Lee wrote on Twitter. “Props to the amazing @Sinccolor for the gorgeous colors. Art Direction by the fabulous Karen Miller at @warnerbrostv! So excited to be returning to #SDCC in person!” He also shared photos of the bags with his entire art spread. There are so many characters that the pressure has to be spread over two SDCC pockets. Michael Keaton’s Batman image appears in the lower right corner of the full image.

The Dark Knight has the same yellow belt and bat symbol he wore in the 1985 film. Warner Brothers’ The CinemaCon panel in April gave fans a chance to see footage of it The Lightning, which reveals how Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne will use multiple different Batsuits. The preview also revealed that Keaton’s Bruce Wayne/Batman will be in the film de-aging and operating a Batcycle. Michael Shannon also has a cameo as General Zod and we are also introduced to Sasha Callie’s Supergirl.

April also saw the reported leak of Batman’s new costume The Lightning. “When it popped up again, I got curious. I was like, ‘Boy, how about that?’ And then there were random murmurs, I got a call from Warner Bros. They wanted to talk to me about something and there were references to Batman,” Keaton continued The Jess Cagle Show. “I think it was about something else related to Batman… Later I got a call saying, ‘We want you to read something.’ I just thought, ‘Of course you have to do this.'”

For his Batman return That flashKeaton added, “It has to be good. There’s no reason to do it if it’s not good. It’s not really going to change anything. And I just jumped in and had fun. Director Andy Muschietti is fantastic and really creative. I do not know. It is fun.”

Michael Keaton will also appear as Batman on HBO Max bat girl Movie. He is joined by JK Simmons, who reprises his role as Commissioner Gordon. Leslie Grace’s Batgirl can also be found on the Jim Lee art for San Diego Comic-Con, along with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and many more heroes from DC League of Super Pets, star girl, Titans, Doom Patrol, Superman & Loisand Teen Titans go!.
