Congratulations to the newlyweds! Emily Ferguson and Wilhelm Karlson On Saturday, July 23rd, the knot was tied in a beautiful ceremonyUs weekly can only confirm that.
“It’s my dream wedding because I’m marrying the man of my dreams,” said the 29-year-old Bachelor Nation graduate Us before her big day. “If he’s not at the altar, I don’t want it! Haha, but seriously, he’s everything I ever dreamed of and more.”
The couple married at Resorts World Las Vegas, where the twin sister also resided Haley Ferguson‘s wedding a month earlier, although they had very different experiences and decor.
“Jackie, Resorts World’s wedding coordinator, made sure the weddings were all on different floors and in different areas of the hotel,” the bride revealed. “I’m getting married on a different rooftop than Haley and have the ceremony in a different ballroom.”
Emily added, “We wanted our wedding to be more of a party, while Haley wanted hers to be more intimate. We served different food and our wedding decorations are over the top, while Haley went for a more classic, clean and simple decor. I’m definitely more extra than Haley!โ
The Las Vegas native’s ceremony opted for a larger guest list compared to her sister’s celebration. For her part, Haley even acted as Matron of Honor on Saturday.
“[It was] absolutely child’s play [decision] Haley would be my maid of honor,” Emily gushed Us. “We have such a close and special bond that there would never be anyone else I would rather have by my side on my wedding day.”
She added: “I’m so glad we got married on different days. We wanted our weddings to be just about us and our partners since everything else in our lives is always done together. It’s nice to be able to have our separate moments as getting married is such a big moment in life.”
